**Update Edit** - they answered my prayers and now have raisin toast - beautifully presented ☺️ So happy this cafe has re-opened, and with the loveliest staff (Bailey and Josiah) who welcomed me and my puppy so warmly. I walk my pup daily along the Parklands as I live just round the corner, and it is such a special location to enjoy a cafe. Love the new decor, the kids play kitchen and the picnic blankets are a great addition. Coffee is the smoothest I've had anywhere, and the banana bread this morning was delicious. Now if they could just introduce raisin toast I'd be delighted ☺️👌
Mug & Beans cafe provided me with a fantastic experience. The service was friendly, and the Spanish waiter added a personal touch to my visit. The food and drinks were of excellent quality, especially the curly fries and coffee. I couldn't resist trying their Nutella milkshake, which was absolutely delicious as a takeaway. The cafe's ambiance was cozy, with nice music and just the right amount of people. Its location near the cycle pathway and waterway added to its appeal. Overall, Mug & Beans is a great stop for food, friendly service, and a relaxed atmosphere, especially when on your morning walk.
Ok my favorite cafe on the coast of Gold Coast! The one who following me know I love to sit in a cafe everyday. This cafe has the best spot ,you can order takeaway and sit outside on the grass near to the sea. The prices are so reasonable that everyone can effort themselves to come here everyday haha. Variety of sweets and they not only look good they taste good as well , I tried the brownie and an old lady told me the carrot cake also amazing… I had a chance to meet the owner because I asked to charge my computer and she helped me with that, very kind owners,you can see it in their eyes they will go more and beyond for their costumers. Thank you so much.
The atmosphere is a perfect mix of peace & joy. They have organic coffee which is so smooth! AND they use all seed oil free ingredients INCLUDING the coffee milk (which I have not seen any other cafe do).
We celebrated my daughter’s birthday at Broadwater Café and it was such a beautiful and memorable experience. The team was incredibly warm and welcoming, and the food, absolutely incredible. They have the BEST croissants I’ve ever tasted. You have to try their dessert croissants, they’re next level! I also really appreciate that they offer healthier alternatives, which made the whole experience even better for our family. One thing that really stood out is that they cook with tallow instead of seed oils, so rare and a refreshing find. All the alternative milks are seed oil free. It’s amazing to see a café that actually cares about using nourishing ingredients. Since it was a sunny day, we borrowed one of their picnic blankets (yes, they offer them to customers!) and had a little picnic by the water. It was such a unique and thoughtful touch, and it made the day feel extra special. Couldn’t recommend this place more, Broadwater Café is a gem! 🌿🥐☀️
All round amazing cafe! Every bite was delicious, with food quality that genuinely impressed us. Everything tasted fresh, flavourful, and clearly made with care. The breakfast menu alone was a knockout, with so many thoughtfully curated options that it was hard to choose just one! The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the staff were incredibly friendly making us feel right at home. Our little one loved the children’s corner with the play kitchen and toys. We were so blown away by the entire experience that we came back again that same day for lunch and we were just as delighted the second time! The lunch menu was just as impressive. We ordered the Chicken Karaage Burger and the Broadwater Burger Deluxe with a side of Tallow crisped French Fries - both burgers were irresistible and no crumbs were left behind. You can tell Broadwater Cafe has been crafted with real passion and attention to detail. This place is a must-visit. Whether you're a local or just passing through, make sure to stop here. Don't be surprised if you find yourself coming back for more, just like we did.
19 Jul - Barista made the best coffee I've ever had! 🌟 So smooth and the perfect temperature! Also the most delicious food! Service was good but staff had a little trouble with English. Prices are on the higher end but worth it. Venue is lovely just a bit small, some outdoor dining added would be perfect 😍 Definitely will be returning! 💯 Update: Looks like they provide picnic blankets and bring the food out to you which is such a great idea! Will try that out when I come with friends next. Also I just add that the speed we got our coffee and food was unreal as well!
The best little gem Cafe 💎 Lovely coffee, delicious croissants and they even give you picnic mats to enjoy it in the sunshine overlooking the water! A friend and I just stumbled by this place on one rainy day walk, we loved it! Staff are so friendly and the ambience is totally sweet.
Food menu is excellent. We Broadwater deluxe burger and garden glow salad with smoke salmon. Both delicious. It is on the pricier side but to sit in the warm room and enjoy our meal while our child was in the kids play area made it worth it. I understand it’s a newly launched venue after the renovation. So far so good. A good upgrade from the old Mug and Bean cafe. Good luck. We’ll be back. Looking forward to the expanding menu.
I was having a walk with my 5mo daughter and I saw this little beautiful cafe. Had a coffee and bacon&egg roll. Everything was amazing. I found out the chef was Italian. So I wanted to come back with my Italian community morning catch up to support him and this beautiful local business. I had this time coffee and prosciutto and mozzarella croissant. Gabriele the chef suggested to add his handmade pesto sauce. Best choice ever. They provide picnic blankets as well so you can enjoy the view right next to the water. Beautiful spot. Great staff. Amazing coffee and their food is delicious. We will be back!
